Fear to Hope

Chained by my own fears

Rejection, despair, and sin

Sharp thorns stuck inside.

Yet, I’ll continue

To ask for Your forgiveness,

Falling on my knees.

Break down my own pride

Tear down my preconceptions

Rip through my own heart.

I want to go Home

To be back in Your embrace,

Have no more darkness.

But You sent me here

This world full of chaos; yet,

You first came down here.

So let me press forth

To share Your light in this world

Knowing You’re with me.

Your own staff and rod

Shall comfort me as I walk

Towards the finish line.

I will continue

To praise You more and more now

Finding joy in You.

You are my Father

The One who loves all His children

Finding all His sheep.

Until I see You,

I will continue to share

This hope within me.
